I am retired now so now that I got rid of my crazy ex wife, so now I need a new hobby. I want to stay under $500.00. I don't want one that has a steep learning curve that I have to spend a half an hour adjusting it.. I will be using it on beaches and in fields and areas around old abandon mining sites. I want a detector that I can grow with. I was looking at the score 3 but I am wondering how steep the learning curve is, or would another detector be more suitable. until get more experience.
